ZoneAlarm PC Tune-up
Auslogics BoostSpeed 9
System Scan - When you open the program for the first time you are welcomed by a scan status screen. This will ask you to scan your system for Registry Errors, Junk Files, Broken Shortcuts and Fragmented files.
Scan results - For each scanned category Auslogics BoostSpeed shows you the number of problems that were found on your computer, together with the speed loss level for each category. From here you can repair all found issues.
System Advisor - In this tab you can scroll through a variety of settings that can make your computer run faster. For example, you can choose to Disable Error reporting services or not to save browser encrypted data on your disk. Each setting has a brief description to help you understand what they actually do.
Resource Usage - You can visualize a real time graph of your system resources usage in this tab, which is useful if you want to detect what applications are consuming more than they should. For CPU, RAM and Disk activity you can see details like the Top users and the percentage they are using.
Advanced Tools - Here you can choose from individual tools that can boost and speed up your system, like Disk Maintenance, Free Up Space, Software Control, System Tweaks, Disaster Recovery, Registry Maintenance, System Status and Speed Up Internet.
Disk Defrag - The Disk Maintenance tool comes with a defrag utility where you can see a map of your hard disk's clusters and choose which partition you would like to defragment.
Duplicate File Finder - A useful way to speed up your disk's response rate is to eliminate duplicate files from your partitions. This can be easily done with this tool, where you can select what type of files to be looked for duplicates and what should happen with them.
Rescue Center - You can undo changes that were made to your computer by Auslogics by simply choosing a backup point from the list. All the changes and actions that you make with this program will be tracked and displayed in the Rescue Center.
Startup Manager - Even if you uninstall some software your system can still be slowed down by left over registry files that load on system startup. From this panel you can select what programs should be excluded from the startup list.
Tweak Manager - With this tool you can enable or disable Windows tweaks that are active by default. You can browse through tweaks related to User Interface, Start Menu, Taskbar, System Security, Startup and Shutdown and other categories.
Settings - Auslogics lets you configure some settings like program's language, Rescue Center modules that should be tracked or Scheduling settings.
