Even though the iPhone 5 has always had an autumn launch written all over it, there has been no real pin of the date, even though we’ve had endless reports about the possibilities.
A Verizon employee stated anonymously that the company weren’t letting employees take holidays between the times: Friday, September 21 to Friday September 30.
It seems on that week, we could see the release date of the iPhone 5. There have been other reports of Apple staff being told the same thing on these dates, and O2 in the UK has been told not to let staff on holidays during late September and early October.
While this does give Apple and phone services little time to promote the new phone, there is quite a drama about it already, so we doubt it will need much introduction to get people excited.
This would go against the idea of Tim Cook revealing it at Apple’s October event. This event was said to be Tim Cook’s first where he would take the keynote to reveal an iPhone.
The iPhone 5 is said to come alongside the not yet official iPad Mini, or the fourth generation iPad, we except that both will come with i.OS6 installed.
