The search engine giant is now planning to offer ultra high speed broadband to thousands of homes in the US. It plans to compete with other local broadband providers on price and speed of service.
Google says that it wants to experiment with new ways to deliver faster internet speeds - with the goal of providing internet speeds of up to 100 times faster than what most homes are use to at present.
