With good quality email design tools and a large feature set, this email marketing service is more for the business professional than the irregular email sender. We looked closely at Pinpointe to discover its qualities.
Pinpointe has an almost bewildering array of pricing structures. There are many more options here than at the other top-rating email marketing service providers. Choose from a plan based on the number of active contacts in your list, a plan based on the number of emails sent per month, or choose a pay-as-you go plan where you buy credits that roll over each month. Pay monthly and get a discount for six months upfront.

Pinpointe has fewer ready-made templates to make use of, and the dozen or so provided are functional rather than stylish. You will probably be more impressed with the email design feature (HTML and WYSIWYG, plus the ability to create text-only or HTML-only emails) and the ability to host unlimited amounts of images with your campaign for free. You also have the ability to lock your created templates in place and use them in future campaigns.
Pinpointe offers some of the most comprehensive, detailed segmentation tools on the market and in our experience you can use these to create highly tailored campaigns.
Don’t rely on static information to plot your campaigns, send emails based on contacts’ behavior, not their title or sex. You can’t contact Pinpointe for phone support, but you can get in touch through email or live chat. The support personnel who answer your emails are available 24 hours a day but the response time is not guaranteed immediate – two to four business hours is standard. Live chat is only available during business hours, and not at the weekend. There are training videos, a knowledge base and other resources available on the site.
